Darin Chappell is an American politician currently serving as a Republican member of the Missouri House of Representatives, representing the state's 137th district in Greene County. Before his election to the state legislature in 2022, Chappell worked as a city administrator for three different municipalities in southwest Missouri. In office, he has focused on conservative legislative priorities, including sponsoring bills to protect belief-based student groups on public campuses and advocating for legislation that restricts abortion access and establishes fetal personhood. He is also known for being the uncle of singer-songwriter Chappell Roan.
