Dave Layzell is an Australian politician who has served as the Member for Upper Hunter in the New South Wales Legislative Assembly since May 2021. A former construction manager and civil engineer, he was elected in a by-election following the resignation of his predecessor. In addition to his parliamentary duties, he currently serves as the Shadow Minister for Regional Transport and Roads. Layzell is a member of the National Party and resides in Clarence Town with his family.
