Dave Prentis, Baron Prentis of Leeds, is a British trade unionist and life peer who currently serves as a member of the House of Lords. He is best known for his long tenure as the General Secretary of UNISON, the United Kingdom's largest trade union, a position he held from 2001 until his retirement in 2020. Throughout his career, he has been a prominent figure in the labour movement, having served as President of the Trades Union Congress in 2008 and holding various advisory roles in public governance and research institutions. He was created a life peer in 2022 and sits for the Labour Party.
