Dave Rowley

Dave Rowley is an American politician and insurance agent serving as a member of the Iowa Senate. First elected in a 2021 special election to represent the 1st district, he was later redistricted to the 5th district in 2022. Before entering politics, Rowley worked as an insurance agent and was also active as a musician. He resides in Spirit Lake with his family. In early 2026, Rowley announced he had been diagnosed with tonsil cancer but stated his intention to continue his legislative duties and seek re-election while undergoing treatment.
