David Bitan

David Bitan is an Israeli lawyer and politician currently serving as a member of the Knesset for the Likud party. Born in Morocco, he immigrated to Israel as a child and later served as a combat medic in the Israel Defense Forces before pursuing a legal career. Bitan has a long history in municipal politics, having served as a member of the Rishon LeZion City Council and as Deputy Mayor. Throughout his parliamentary career, he has held significant roles, including Chairman of the Coalition and Chairman of the Immigration and Absorption Committee. He is currently facing ongoing legal proceedings regarding allegations of bribery, fraud, and breach of trust.
