David Green is a Scottish politician serving as a Member of the Scottish Parliament (MSP) for the constituency of Caithness, Sutherland and Ross since 2026. Born in Inverness, he attended Dingwall Academy and later graduated from the University of Aberdeen in 2014 with a degree in Politics and International Relations. Before his election to the Scottish Parliament, he worked as an aide to the late Charles Kennedy. In the 2026 Scottish Parliament election, Green successfully unseated the incumbent SNP minister Maree Todd, campaigning on a platform that addressed the concerns of constituents who felt overlooked by the government.
