Delyth Jewell

Delyth Non Jewell is a Welsh politician serving as a Member of the Senedd for the Blaenau Gwent Caerffili Rhymni constituency since 2026. She has held the position of Deputy Minister for Social Care, Mental Health and Women's Health since 2026 and has served as the Deputy Leader of Plaid Cymru since 2023. Previously, she represented the South Wales East region from 2019 to 2026. Before entering politics, Jewell worked as a researcher and speechwriter for Plaid Cymru, and held roles at Citizens Advice, Welsh Water, and the charity ActionAid, focusing on women's rights and international development.
