Liz Saville Roberts

Liz Saville Roberts is a Welsh politician who has served as the Member of Parliament for Dwyfor Meirionnydd since 2015. A member of Plaid Cymru, she has held the position of group leader for the party in the House of Commons since 2017 and was sworn into the Privy Council in 2019. Throughout her parliamentary career, she has been a vocal advocate for rural Welsh issues, minority language rights, and social justice, including initiatives to combat online abuse and domestic violence. Before her election to Westminster, she served as a councillor for Gwynedd Council, where she held the cabinet portfolio for education.
