Mary Glindon

Mary Glindon is a British Labour Party politician serving as the Member of Parliament for Newcastle upon Tyne East and Wallsend since 2024. Previously, she represented the North Tyneside constituency from 2010 until its abolition in 2024. Before entering national politics, she served as a councillor on North Tyneside Council for 15 years, including a term as Civic Mayor. A practising Roman Catholic, Glindon has held various parliamentary roles, including serving as an opposition Whip from 2020 to 2024.
