David Hickey is a Canadian politician serving as a Member of the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick for the riding of Saint John Harbour. Elected in 2024, he was subsequently appointed as the Minister responsible for the New Brunswick Housing Corporation. Prior to his provincial role, Hickey served on the Saint John Common Council from 2019 to 2024 and acted as the National Chair of the Young Liberals of Canada. He is known for his focus on housing policy, including the introduction of legislation to implement residential rent caps.
