David Hodgett

Representing the electorate of Croydon, he previously served as the Deputy Leader of the Liberal Party from 2014 to 2018. Before entering state politics, Hodgett was a local government councillor and mayor in the Yarra Ranges Shire. He holds multiple shadow ministry portfolios, including Education and Early Childhood. In August 2025, he announced he would not seek re-election in the 2026 state election.
