David Glenn Jenkins is an American politician and helicopter pilot currently serving as a Republican member of the Georgia House of Representatives. Born in 1971, Jenkins previously served as a police officer in Clayton County and as a Chinook pilot in the United States Army with the 101st Airborne Division. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 2008. Jenkins entered the state legislature in 2020 after defeating the incumbent Minority Leader, and he continues to work as a life-flight helicopter pilot while residing on his farm in Meriwether County.
