David Kempton

David Kempton is an Australian politician currently serving as the Member of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland for the electorate of Cook. He previously held this seat from 2012 to 2015, during which time he was appointed as the Assistant Minister for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Affairs in April 2012. After a period away from the assembly, he was re-elected to represent the Cook constituency in 2024. He is a member of the Liberal National Party.
