David Kirkwood

David Kirkwood is a Scottish politician and engineer who has served as a Member of the Scottish Parliament for the South Scotland region since May 2026. An engineer by profession, he holds an MSc in Engineering Technology and Management from the University of Strathclyde. Before his election to the Scottish Parliament, Kirkwood served on the Moffat and District Community Council and was a candidate for the Dumfriesshire, Clydesdale and Tweeddale constituency in the 2024 United Kingdom general election. He is a member of Reform UK and resides in Moffat, Dumfries and Galloway.
