David Myles

David Myles is a Canadian politician, songwriter, and musician who was elected as the Member of Parliament for Fredericton—Oromocto in the 2025 Canadian federal election. Before entering politics, he established a successful career as a folk and roots musician, releasing numerous albums and earning multiple accolades, including a Juno Award for his work on the triple-platinum single 'Inner Ninja' with Classified. A graduate of Mount Allison University with a degree in political science, Myles has also been recognized for his philanthropic efforts, particularly his annual 'Singing For Supper' tour which supports local food banks. He currently serves as a representative for the Liberal Party in the House of Commons.
