David Torrance

David Torrance is a Scottish politician who has served as the Member of the Scottish Parliament (MSP) for the Kirkcaldy constituency since 2011. A member of the Scottish National Party, he previously served as a local councillor for Fife Council from 1995 until his election to the Scottish Parliament. Before entering politics full-time, Torrance worked in the private sector for companies including British Gas, Alcan Chemicals, and Bosch Rexroth. He is also a long-standing member of the Scout Association, having served as a Scout Leader since 1979.
