David Wells

David Wells is a Canadian politician serving as a member of the Senate of Canada representing Newfoundland and Labrador since his appointment in 2013. A member of the Conservative Party, he has held various leadership roles within the Senate, including committee chairmanships and caucus positions. Before his political career, he worked as a senior executive at the Canada–Newfoundland and Labrador Offshore Petroleum Board. He is a vocal advocate for responsible resource development, youth civic engagement, and sports betting legalization.
