David Zuberbühler

David Zuberbühler is a Swiss politician and businessman who has served as a member of the National Council since 2015. Born in Herisau in 1979, he comes from a family of entrepreneurs and currently manages two shoe retail businesses. His political career began in 1999 with his involvement in the Young Swiss People's Party and his election to the municipal council of Herisau. He later served on the Cantonal Council of Appenzell Ausserrhoden from 2011 to 2016. In the federal parliament, he is active on the security commission and focuses on issues related to weapon rights.
