Dawn Black

Dawn Black is a Scottish politician currently serving as a Member of the Scottish Parliament for the Angus North and Mearns constituency, having assumed office in May 2026. Prior to her election to the Scottish Parliament, she served as a councillor for the Stonehaven and Lower Deeside ward on the Aberdeenshire Council, a position she held starting in 2022. As a member of the Scottish National Party, she was selected to succeed Mairi Gougeon in the 2026 Scottish Parliament election.
