Dawne Shand is an American politician currently serving as a member of the Massachusetts House of Representatives for the 1st Essex District. Elected in 2022, she represents the cities of Amesbury and Newburyport, as well as the town of Merrimac. Prior to her legislative career, Shand served as the president of the Massachusetts Women's Political Caucus and worked as a management consultant and writer. She also managed the 2020 congressional campaign of Jamie Belsito. Shand resides in Newburyport and is a member of the Democratic Party.
