Dean Black

Dean Black is an American politician serving as a member of the Florida House of Representatives for the 15th district. An eighth-generation Northeast Florida native, he is a business owner, rancher, and veteran of the Florida Air National Guard. Before his election to the state legislature, he served as the Chairman of the Republican Party of Duval County. A staunch conservative, Black has focused his legislative efforts on restricting public-sector union dues, defining biological sex in legal documentation, and protecting historical monuments.
