Debra Bazemore is an American politician currently serving as a member of the Georgia House of Representatives, representing the 69th district. First elected in 2016, she assumed office in January 2017. Prior to her legislative career, she was an active community leader in South Fulton, Georgia, where she served as chair of the non-profit South Fulton United and founded the organization Concerned Parents. In 2020, she was elected to serve as the House Minority Chief Deputy Whip for the Georgia House Democratic Caucus.
