Diana Iovanovici-Șoșoacă

Diana Iovanovici-Șoșoacă is a Romanian lawyer and far-right politician currently serving as a Member of the European Parliament. She rose to national prominence as an anti-vaccine activist during the COVID-19 pandemic and previously served as a Senator in the Romanian Parliament from 2020 to 2024. Known for her nationalist, eurosceptic, and anti-immigration rhetoric, she has frequently faced controversy for her ties to Russia, inflammatory statements regarding international conflicts, and disruptive behavior in legislative settings.
