Didier Calame is a Swiss politician and member of the Swiss People's Party (UDC). Born in La Chaux-de-Fonds in 1972, he is an organic farmer and entrepreneur who founded a pipe cleaning and drainage company. He began his political career in local government in Les Planchettes before serving for 15 years in the Grand Council of the Canton of Neuchâtel. In 2023, he was elected to the Swiss National Council, where he serves on the Foreign Policy Committee. He is known for his pragmatic approach to agricultural policy and his conservative political stance.
