Elisabeth Schneider-Schneiter

Elisabeth Schneider-Schneiter is a Swiss jurist and politician serving as a member of the National Council of Switzerland. A member of The Centre party, she has been active in regional politics in the Canton of Basel-Landschaft since 1999, including a term as president of the cantonal parliament. She entered the National Council in 2010 and has since been re-elected multiple times. Beyond her legislative work, she holds leadership roles in the Chamber of Commerce of Basel and serves on the board of directors for Economiesuisse and Primeo Energy. She is also known for her commitment to cultural initiatives, such as her presidency of the European Youth Choir Festival.
