Diederik Boomsma is a Dutch politician, author, and journalist currently serving as a member of the House of Representatives for the JA21 party. Previously, he was a long-serving member of the Amsterdam Municipal Council for the Christian Democratic Appeal (CDA), where he was recognized for his advocacy on behalf of local residents and his focus on conservative values. Boomsma later joined the New Social Contract (NSC) party, serving in parliament from 2024 to 2025 before switching to JA21.
