Dileshwar Kamait

Dileshwar Kamait is an Indian politician currently serving as a Member of Parliament in the 18th Lok Sabha, representing the Supaul constituency in Bihar. A prominent leader of the Extremely Backward Castes within the Janata Dal (United), he previously served in the Bihar Legislative Assembly after being elected from the Triveniganj constituency in 2009. Before entering politics in 2008, Kamait worked as an officer in the Indian Railways. Following his re-election to the Lok Sabha in 2024, he was appointed as the leader of the Janata Dal (United) parliamentary party in the Lok Sabha.
