Diliprao Shankarrao Bankar is an Indian politician from Maharashtra who currently serves as a Member of the Legislative Assembly for the Niphad constituency. Born in 1964, he is the son of Shankarrao Kondaji Bankar and hails from the Nashik District. Bankar has represented the Nationalist Congress Party in the state legislature since his victory in the 2019 Maharashtra Legislative Assembly election, a seat he successfully retained in the 2024 elections. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree, which he earned in 1985 from a college affiliated with the University of Pune.
