Dimple Yadav is an Indian politician currently serving as a Member of Parliament in the Lok Sabha, representing the Mainpuri constituency in Uttar Pradesh. A member of the Samajwadi Party, she previously represented the Kannauj constituency for two terms. Born in Pune and a graduate of Lucknow University, she entered politics and became the first woman from Uttar Pradesh to be elected unopposed to the Lok Sabha in a by-election in 2012. She is married to Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav and continues to be a prominent figure within the party's leadership.
