Dmitry Patrushev is a Russian politician and former banker serving as the Deputy Prime Minister of Russia since May 2024, where he oversees agriculture, the agro-industrial complex, and environmental issues. Previously, he served as the Minister of Agriculture of Russia from 2018 to 2024, during which time he implemented the 'Integrated Development of Rural Areas' program and oversaw Russia's transition to a net food exporter. Before his political career, he held senior leadership roles in the banking sector, including serving as chairman of the Russian Agricultural Bank. He is the son of Nikolai Patrushev, a prominent figure in the Russian security establishment.
