Donnie Chesteen is an American politician currently serving as a member of the Alabama Senate, representing the 29th District since 2018. Prior to his election to the Senate, he served in the Alabama House of Representatives, representing the 87th district from 2010 to 2018. Before entering the political arena, Chesteen worked as an educator and a high school football coach, following in the footsteps of his father, James Donald Chesteen, who is a member of the Alabama High School Athletic Association Sports Hall of Fame.
