Duncan Dunlop is a Scottish politician who has served as a Member of the Scottish Parliament for the South Scotland region since May 2026. Prior to his election to the Scottish Parliament, he worked as a charity chief executive and was an environmental campaigner. He previously stood as a candidate for the Lothian East constituency in the 2024 United Kingdom general election. Dunlop is the brother of historian and broadcaster Tessa Dunlop and is a descendant of the Clan Dunlop through his grandfather, the physician Sir Derrick Dunlop.
