Duncan Alexander Webb is a New Zealand politician, lawyer, and academic who has served as the Member of Parliament for Christchurch Central since 2017. A long-time member of the Labour Party, he previously worked as a law professor at the University of Canterbury and as a partner at the law firm Lane Neave. During his parliamentary career, he has held ministerial portfolios including Minister of Commerce and Consumer Affairs and Minister for State Owned Enterprises. Webb is known for his advocacy on social justice, climate change, and legal reform, and he currently serves in the Shadow Cabinet. He has announced his intention to retire from politics at the 2026 general election.
