Dursun Ataş is a Turkish politician and former military officer currently serving as a Member of the Grand National Assembly for Kayseri. After a twenty-year career in the Turkish Air Force, he transitioned into local politics, serving as the Mayor of Pınarbaşı from 2009 to 2018. Throughout his parliamentary tenure, he has been affiliated with the Nationalist Movement Party, the İYİ Party, and most recently joined the Justice and Development Party in October 2024.
