
Kemal Karahan
Profile
Kemal Karahan is a Turkish politician and educator currently serving as a Member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey for Hatay, representing the Justice and Development Party (AK Party). Born in 1964 in Dörtyol, Hatay, he holds a degree in Turkish Language and Literature from Atatürk University. Before entering politics, he had a long career in the education sector, serving as a teacher, school administrator, and later as the Provincial Director of National Education for Hatay. He also served as the General Manager of Support Services at the Ministry of National Education and as an education counselor at the Turkish Embassy in Sofia. He is currently a member of the Parliamentary Committee on National Education, Culture, Youth and Sports.
