Dustin Burrows

Dustin Burrows is an American politician, attorney, and businessman serving as the Speaker of the Texas House of Representatives since 2025. A member of the Republican Party, he has represented the 83rd district in the Texas House since 2015. Throughout his legislative career, Burrows has chaired several influential committees, including the House Ways and Means Committee and the House Calendars Committee. He is known for his conservative policy focus, having authored legislation related to property tax relief, public school finance reform, and the regulation of local government authority. Burrows holds an MBA and a J.D. from Texas Tech University and previously practiced law as a partner at a Texas-based firm.
