E. Raja

E. Raja is an Indian politician and a professional weightlifter who serves as a Member of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly. Representing the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) party, he was elected to the Sankarankoil constituency, successfully unseating the incumbent AIADMK candidate in the 2021 state assembly elections. Beyond his political career, Raja is an accomplished athlete who notably won a bronze medal in weightlifting at the 2021 Asian Games held in Turkey. He continues to balance his legislative duties with his commitment to sports.
