Eamon Scanlon

Eamon Scanlon is an Irish politician who has served as a Teachta Dála (TD) for Sligo–North Leitrim since 2024, having previously held the seat from 2007 to 2011 and 2016 to 2020. A member of Fianna Fáil, he also served as a Senator for the Agricultural Panel from 2002 to 2007 and was a long-time member of the Sligo County Council. A butcher and business owner by trade, Scanlon has been active in local community enterprise and regional governance throughout his career.
