Maurice Quinlivan is an Irish politician serving as a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Limerick City constituency, a position he has held since the 2016 general election. A member of Sinn Féin, he previously served as a Limerick City Councillor from 2009 to 2016, where he campaigned on issues such as urban boundary extensions and local resource allocation. Quinlivan gained national attention for a high-profile defamation case against former Minister for Defence Willie O'Dea. In addition to his parliamentary duties, he has chaired the Committee on Enterprise, Trade and Employment and currently serves as the Cathaoirleach of the Committee on Disability Matters.
