Previously, he represented Hawaii's 2nd congressional district from 2002 to 2007 and served as the Majority Leader in the Hawaii State Legislature. Known as a moderate or conservative Democrat, Case has focused on fiscal responsibility, environmental protection, and regional Pacific interests throughout his career.
