Ed Vaizey

Ed Vaizey, Baron Vaizey of Didcot, is a British Conservative politician and life peer who currently serves as a member of the House of Lords. Previously, he served as the Member of Parliament for Wantage from 2005 to 2019 and held the position of Minister for Culture, Communications and Creative Industries from 2010 to 2016, becoming the longest-serving culture minister in the post's history. A former barrister and political adviser, Vaizey is recognized as a modernizer within the Conservative Party and remains an active media commentator and broadcaster.
