Darren Jones is a British politician serving as the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster, Chief Secretary to the Prime Minister, and Minister for Intergovernmental Relations since September 2025. A member of the Labour Party, he has represented Bristol North West as a Member of Parliament since 2017. Previously, he chaired the Business and Trade Select Committee and served as Chief Secretary to the Treasury. A former solicitor with a background in technology and consumer law, Jones is known as a techno-optimist and a prominent voice on digital policy and economic reform within the Labour Party.
