Eddie Joyce is a Canadian politician serving as a Member of the House of Assembly of Newfoundland and Labrador for the district of Humber-Bay of Islands. First elected in 1989, he has served multiple terms in the provincial legislature, including a period as a cabinet minister from 2015 to 2018. Originally a member of the Liberal Party, he served as the party's interim leader and Leader of the Opposition in 2013. Following his removal from the Liberal caucus in 2018, he has successfully contested subsequent elections as an independent candidate. As of 2024, he holds the distinction of being the province's longest-serving MHA.
