Eduardo Cruz Villanueva is a Filipino politician, evangelist, and the founder of the Jesus Is Lord Church Worldwide. Once a radical student activist and self-described communist during the martial law era, he transitioned to religious ministry in the late 1970s. He has been a prominent figure in Philippine politics, having run for president in 2004 and 2010, and currently serves as a member of the House of Representatives. Villanueva is known for his conservative social stances, including his opposition to same-sex marriage, and his ownership of the ZOE Broadcasting Network.
