He held the position of secretary of infrastructure for the state of Roraima during two separate terms, spanning 2019 to 2022 and again starting in 2023. In 2026, he briefly served as the governor of Roraima between March and April, before his mandate was revoked by the Superior Electoral Court (TSE).
