Edward Faulks, Baron Faulks is a British barrister and life peer who currently serves as a member of the House of Lords. Formerly a Conservative peer, he served as Minister of State for Justice from 2013 to 2016. A distinguished legal professional, he was called to the Bar in 1973 and appointed a Queen's Counsel in 1996. Since 2020, he has served as the Chairman of the Independent Press Standards Organisation (IPSO), the independent regulator for the majority of newspapers and magazines in the United Kingdom.
