Eleanor Olszewski is a Canadian politician and lawyer currently serving as the Member of Parliament for Edmonton Centre. Since May 2025, she has held the positions of Minister of Emergency Management and Community Resilience and Minister responsible for Prairies Economic Development Canada in the cabinet of Prime Minister Mark Carney. Before her election to the House of Commons, she practiced as a civil litigator and served as an adjunct professor at the University of Alberta. Olszewski is known for her opposition to Alberta separatism and her focus on federal investment in rural and Indigenous economic development.
