Elena Diego

María Elena Diego Castellanos is a Spanish politician who served as a member of the Senate of Spain across two distinct periods, from 2011 to 2014 and again from 2019 to 2025. Prior to her tenure in the national legislature, she held the position of mayor of Villamayor, serving in that capacity from 2003 to 2011. Throughout her political career, she has been affiliated with the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party (PSOE) and has advocated for consensus-based politics within the legislative chamber.
