Ellen Troxclair

Ellen Troxclair is an American politician and small business owner currently serving as a member of the Texas House of Representatives for District 19. Before her election to the state legislature, she made history as the youngest woman ever elected to the Austin City Council, where she represented the 8th district from 2015 to 2019. A member of the Republican Party, Troxclair has advocated for conservative policies, including a proposal to restrict committee chairmanships to members of the majority party within the Texas House.
