Els van Doesburg is a Dutch-Belgian politician who serves as the acting mayor of Antwerp and as a member of the Flemish Parliament. Born in the Netherlands, she moved to Belgium at a young age and later studied political science at the University of Antwerp. Before her election to the Flemish Parliament in 2024, she worked in the healthcare sector and as a policy officer for the New Flemish Alliance. She assumed the role of acting mayor of Antwerp in 2025, succeeding Bart De Wever.
